I love mission trips. I've been on plenty, though none were long term, and each provided me with lessons and experiences I'm certain have shaped who I am and what I know about God. But then again, my every day experiences also have all provided me with lessons and experiences I'm certain have shaped who I am and what I know about God.
Mission trips trips give me a chance to express Christ's love and share the Gospel with people who may never have heard the reality and truth of Christ's sacrifice. Then again, my every day experiences also give me a chace to express Christ's love and share the Gospel with people woh may never have heard the reality and truth of Christ's sacrifice.
Mission trips give me a unique opportunity to serve God in a way I cannot in my daily life. Right? Well I think this one is probably one that I agree with. Just as baking with friends from class, watching children for a single mother and listening and caring for someone who is hurting all give me the unique opportunity to serve God in a way I cannot in my daily life.
I really do believe in mission trips. But here's the thing, I don't believe in mission trips if your life isn't missional already. More to come..............
